Vertical Slurry Pump

Description

Most of vertical slurry pumps are liquid pumps as well, because the pump head needs to be submerged underwater. If the motor or other components except the pump head are all plunged under slurries, it’s called sump sludge pump. Our vertical pump program offers the newest and widest range of world class rubber lined slurry pumps for abrasive and difficult pumping applications. There are two types of our vertical slurry pump series: DF (DHF) series vertical froth pump and DV(R) series sump sludge pump.

Types of Vertical Slurry Pump

1. DF (DHF) series vertical froth pumps all adopt double casing design and are highly efficient, wear resistant, and have stable performance and great interchangeability. The liner and impeller materials can use wear resistant metal or rubber.
2. DV(R) series sump sludge pumps adopt single casing, double suction, semi-open impeller design. The impeller uses high chrome alloy or rubber. The gap between impeller and frame plate liner insert is adjustable, highly efficient, without any shaft seal, using rubber wet parts, suitable for tough applications.

Application of Sump Sludge Pump

The vertical slurry pumps are designed for delivering corrosive, large particle and high density slurries. The pumps are widely used for metallurgy, mining, coal, power plant, building materials and environmental protection industrial departments, etc.

Features of Sump Sludge Pump

1. Wet parts: this series of products is featuring vertical slurry pumps working underwater. The frame plate and impeller use wear resistant rubber, metal or other materials.
2. Bearing assembly: the bearing uses oil lubrication.
3. Shaft seal and seal water are not needed. It is able to work even under condition of feeding shortage.
4. The drive type for the equipment is either elastic coupling drive or V-belt drive.
5. Variable speeds and models, long service life, high efficiency and adaptability to tough transport conditions.

Use

1. The vertical slurry pump is supposed to be placed well to withstand its weight and vibration.
2. Tube and valve should be supported respectively.
3. Adjust the impeller gap, no friction.
4. Check the rotating direction of the vertical slurry pump according to the indicator, not reversed.
5. The pump should be inspected regularly, and damaged components must be replaced. If you want to konw more about DeLin, please click WHY CHOOSE US?
